The Mixing Board is a tool that will help you visualize the many ways you can combine vocal characteristics to create a personalized voice that is as unique as your gender.

You can use this tool to characterize your own voice or the voice of someone who inspires you.

On the board, you will see a slider for five characteristics:

• Pitch - high/low
• Resonance - bright/dark
• Weight - heavy/light
• Contour - wide/shallow
• Volume - loud/quiet

You can use tools like tuners, spectrum analyzers, or your own ears and body awareness to characterize one characteristic at a time until you have a visual representation of your voice.
